4/17/11 A spring training run up to Santiago Peak via Holy Jim five days after doing Cactus to Clouds. By far the most water on Holy Jim of all my trips there, but the gnat swarm on the summit was out of control!
1 Lots of toe dunking today crossing the creek.

10 The waterfall actually sounded like a waterfall today.

13 There was water on the trail in a few places where I've never seen a drop before.

15 Water at the fireroad at the top of Lower Holy Jim!

18 Gorgonio and San Jacinto.
19 The gnats were out of control.
20 The top.
21 2:16 from the car to the summit marker including the waterfall detour. A new record for me. On the way back down, I took a more conservative pace than normal though.
22 A short video of the gnat swarm. I literally could not stand in one spot for long. I only stayed on top long enough to take a few pics and then headed back down.

24 Orange County, the Pacific Ocean, Catalina, and some gnats. You can even see San Clemente island in the far distance even though it's not a particularly clear day.
